Pro Tips from Jerry "Cappy" Cappadona
The next time you watch the PGA tour look how all the players set up. They may have a few unique swings, but their set up and posture will be very similar.
Starting from the top
- Your head should be up off the chest, there has to be room to turn your shoulders under your your chin
- The back is fairly straight as we bend from the hips
- Once your spine angle is set, your hands should hang naturally down
- Let the knees flex to help make an athletic swing
It is impossible to make an athletic swing from a stiff awkward position. Think how a "third baseman" stands in baseball as they are waiting to react to the ball. Feet wide, legs flexed and they are ready for action.
WHY NOT START WITH THE BASICS THIS YEAR AND I PROMISE YOUR GAME WILL IMPROVE IN 2014!
